AttorneysHeather GalfuntMs. Galfunt is a graduate of Northwestern University in 1993 and a graduate of Benjamin Cardozo School of Law in 1996. Initially, she worked as a legislative staff attorney with the New York City Council and thereafter, moved to the private sector working for a Long Island defense firm representing various local municipalities. In 2003, Ms. Galfunt started working for a large defense firm in New York City handling all aspects of workers’ compensation claims. Ms. Galfunt is well versed in the handling of all workers’ compensation matters including but not limited to hearings, trials, preparation of lay and medical witnesses, settlement negotiations, legal research and preparation of applications for Board review at the Workers’ Compensation Board and Appellate level. |
